Lent Appeal 2018

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, 14th February when we launch our annual Lent Appeal, this year in support of the Diocese of London’s ‘Tackling homelessness together’ appeal.

The Diocese has partnered with charities working at a local level to offer immediate response to those experiencing homelessness, providing safety and security to our most vulnerable neighbours – often a catalyst to those experiencing homelessness to move on and reintegrate into their community.

Full details of the Appeal may be found here.

Please will you put your thinking caps on to identify innovative ways to raise funds for this important work? Host a dinner and ask your guests for a donation? Plan an event? And then will you speak to Fr Alan and the team about it? You are, after all, one of the more enterprising congregations in London…

To make your donation, either click here to make an online donation, marking ‘LENT’ in the ‘special celebration’ box, send a cheque to the parish office, or place cash or cheque in a Gift Aid envelope marked clearly ‘LENT’.
