Trip to Coventry Cathedral

Join Fr Alan Gyle on a visit to Basil Spence’s remarkable 1960s Cathedral and to reflect on its distinctive ministry in the face of conflict.

Timetable

09:03       train from Euston to Coventry, arriving 10:02

Walk from the station to the Cathedral (10-15m) or a 5m taxi journey

For those travelling independently, we will meet at the Cathedral (Priory Street at the foot of the Cathedral steps) at 10:20

10:45       Guided Tour of the Cathedral  (1 hour)

noon        Litany of Reconciliation

12:10       The Cathedral Eucharist

12:45       Lunch in the Rising Café in the Cathedral Precincts

Afternoon ad lib – for praying, visiting, shopping…

Optional visit to the Mead Gallery in the Warwick Arts Centre (in association with Tate Liverpool) to see the current John Piper Exhibition (15m by taxi or 20m by bus)
