Ascension Day
This coming Thursday, 9th May, we will celebrate the Solemn Eucharist on Ascension Day at 19:00, which will be followed by a drinks reception. We hope that regular members of the congregation will take the opportunity to extend an invitation to friends and colleagues, to enjoy the best St Paul’s has to offer in worship, music, and hospitality! Invitation cards are available for collection at church.
John Roberts RIP
The Funeral of John Roberts will take place in church at 11:00 this Tuesday, 7th May, to which members of the congregation are warmly invited. Of your charity pray for the repose of John’s soul, and for his family as they mourn.
Annual Parochial Church Meeting
Next Sunday, 12th May, after the 11:00 Eucharist we will hold the annual meeting to receive reports on the life of the parish, and to elect Churchwardens and members of the Parochial Church Council. All members of the Electoral Roll are welcome to join the meeting. Nomination forms for the elections are available at the back of church, or from the Parish Office.
Recital Series
Booking is open for our Spring/Summer recital series, full details of which are available on our website, by clicking here. The first recital will take place on Thursday 23rd May at 7:30pm with Ruairi Bowen (tenor) accompanied by James Orford performing a recital of songs by Charles Villies Stanford and Gustav Holst.
