OUR SISTER PARISH If you plan to visit Washington D.C., please don’t fail to worship at St Paul’s Church, K-Street - our sister parish for whom we pray daily. The relationship between the two parishes is marked partly by the clergy (once a year their Rector, Fr Andrew Sloane, preaches at St Paul’s, and in October our Vicar preaches there) and partly by a healthy interchange of parishioners who happen to be either visiting Washington or London. We enjoy the similarity of our theological and liturgical traditions and our common outlook on what it means to be part of Catholic Anglicanism in the Twenty-first century - but also relish the subtle differences between our two church communities. www.stpaulskstreet.com
MUSIC AT ST PAUL’S St Paul’s Knightsbridge is well known for maintaining the highest standards of music in worship, and Sunday by Sunday our professional octet sings repertoire from every century and in every style. The Director of Music at St Paul’s is is Stephen Farr and our Assistant Director of Music is Christian Wilson. Regular visitors are the BBC Singers who record in and broadcast from St Paul’s Knightsbridge. We also enjoy a long-standing relationship with one of London’s long-established amateur Choral Societies, The St Paul’s Festival Choir which traditionally gives three concerts per year in the church. We are one of the regular venues for the Kensington Chamber Orchestra, Lawyers’ Music and Corâl Cymry Llundain ~ The London Welsh Chorale. In December work in partnership with a number of leading charities to offer a season of Charity Carol Events helping to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities.
